JANICE CIPRIANI

Janice Cipriani is an accomplished watercolorist who began her art education by earning a B.A. in Fine Arts from California State University, Los Angeles. A lifetime of vacationing in Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks, as well as traveling the back roads in between, inspired Janice to express the beauty of the world in watercolors. Because we see this beauty through light, watercolors seemed the most appropriate medium to show this light.

Janice has studied with local artists (Robert Willis, David Musser, Kolan Peterson) and with such national figures as: Don Andrews, Gerald Brommer, Frank Francese, and Tony Couch.

She has received many awards, including Best of Show(2003) and First Place (2004 and 2003) at the Visual Expressions Show in Temecula and the Ken Decker Best Use of Watercolor Award (2004 and 2003) in Fallbrook.
